NetApp Edition – How it Works
Like our standard Managed Server HSM solution, NetApp Edition enables the administrator to configure policies to archive inactive files from primary storage to more optimal tiers of storage. By leveraging NetApp’s FPolicy APIs, NetApp Edition allows the transparent recall of archived files from any supported archive platform. The policy-driven engine provides for “lights-out” operation while providing complete, transparent access by users to all of their data.

Download CaminoSoft’s FREE Storage Analyzer Tool! When installed on a Windows workstation, this software product will analyze file usage on specified, supported source volumes. The Storage Analyzer documents file access frequency and provides a graphical tool for showing current storage use, predicting future storage consumption, and optimizing storage resource allocation.
